Long Live Sonny Boy

Aaron Francisco Chavez was............. literally the sunshine here for many of us in the community, and mainly for us he held closest, his family. Never failed to light up his baby girl Athena Clara's soul and bring out the biggest most precious smile on her face. The way he never failed to bring joy to the rest of his loved ones by having a smile and laughter that was contagious.... beyond control sometimes. He made everyone weak at the knees at one point, somehow, someway. Troubled, misunderstood, stubborn and often lost... but always so kind, optimistic, sweet, protective, and always righteous. He touched the lives of many, even ones he hardly knew or knew at all. The thing is, it only took one time to either speak to him, hug him, or laugh with him to just fall in love with his character. He was just amazing. Our Sonny Boy..

Heaven gained the most handsome angel on the morning of November 1st, 2018, which has left many of us very affected and forever confused as to "why him". Unfortunately, the drug cycle across our communities and the rest of the United States is a very serious and unaddressed issue that finally needs to be brought to light. Our boy was not an addict, he was just a teen out on Halloween trying to have fun like the rest of us and just so happened to be with the wrong people, at the wrong place...and time. Justice needs to be served and we need to defend his name. Stay away from media outlets trying to paint their own picture of someone only we knew dearly. I would like to believe that Aaron's death should be the reason this awakens the youth of today, since they are our future, and URGES them to stop consuming and purchasing unknown narcotics that are NOT prescribed by your primary care doctor. The contribution of this needs to be stopped. There was a surge of overdose deaths that resulted from Fentanyl in the month of August and even a timeline that goes back. Do NOT trust them anymore, do NOT trust your "homies" or your girls to take any sort of drug. It won't be worth the pain you leave your family and the people you care for. Spread a POSITIVE message, in his name. he would've been all for it. Hold your loved ones and remind them that they're loved everyday.

The amount we need to come up with is due to the fact that on August 24th, 2018 our mother Leslie, was deported with nothing in hand. Not even a bag with some basic belongings, and was also forced to leave all 10 children behind at the time, youngest being 5 months old. We are going to just need help getting her over to be able to mourn her son by her side and be able to provide him a proper burial and memorial service. The justice system of today is corrupted and very sunken into a dark and evil place all for money, power, and greed. Which makes it also urgent to get out and exercise your right to VOTE and use your voice for all these things that are occurring. Make a difference ❤

Please With all due appreciation, anything truly helps and our mother and family is eternally grateful for anything donated. Final and funeral expenses will be held in charge by Aaron's grandmother, Blanca Chavez.

Thank you so much, God bless you all always.
