Bob Westcott Wheelchair Ramp Fund

Donation protected
My dad, Bob Westcott has spent his life serving the community. As a young pastor in 1960, he gave up his job because the church he was in instructed him not to work with black kids or poor kids. He never looked back.

From there he became a teacher in the public schools and built a youth center out of an old barn in our back yard that saw a steady stream of teenagers of all backgrounds. He pioneered the gifted program for the Walker county school district and saw some of his students go on to work at the Smithsonian Institute and NASA. He has traveled to over 50 countries working with indigenous churches to help the leaders become students and teachers. He currently supports an orphanage in India and is beloved by countless people around the globe. My family is rich with brothers and sisters whom I have never met.

My dad is now in the final stages of kidney cancer and has gotten to the point where he cannot walk on his own and my parents need a wheelchair ramp built and other accessibility modifications for their house. It would mean so much to me, to my dad and mom, and all of my family if you would contribute to this fund.

Any funds raised above the cost of modifications will be donated to the orphanage in India to house, feed, and clothe the children.

Thanks so much,
Rick
