Help Pavi’s Liver Get Better

Pavi is an eight-year-old Pekingese Maltese mix, he was born on March 25, 2009… Throughout his life he’s only had a couple problems, one ear infection and some allergies.... but he’s never given us any problems outside of that. He’s always been so happy, his tail wags at the speed of light every time I walk through the door. He sleeps in my bed every single night and jumps in my lap when I cry. He’s a good boy, he is the definition of a good boy… And everybody loves him, that’s why he means so much to me. He is my entire world. Today, March 5, I noticed his behavior changed on an extreme level. He started vomiting frequently, and it wasn’t just stomach bile… He seemed very lethargic and just not himself, so I asked some friends for advice and ultimately took him to the vet. That’s where they did a blood test and found out that his liver levels were much much higher than they should be. Much, MUCH higher. Dangerous levels. I can’t say I know exactly how to read the charts that they provided me with, but visually you can see that his levels are much higher than the norm. (I will include pictures of all the charts they provide me with ) Currently he’s being hospitalized for the next two nights, he will be put on an IV and medication to make sure he is hydrated and doesn’t feel nauseated. i’m extremely worried about him and also worried about how I’m going to be able to pay for his bill. If you’re even reading this far, I wanted to take the time to thank you for even caring enough to read about what’s going on with my baby… And any help whatsoever would be appreciated.
