Harpers Surgery And Vet Bills

As some of you know I had rescued a dog about 4 months ago named Harper. Harper was once in a home the abused him and mistreated him and I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to take him into my home and make him part of the family. Harper has been an amazing dog and companion for myself, he has also been a huge blessing. He is so awesome with my son Jackson who loves him and let’s us all know that all day long lol. All in all he is a huge part of the family. Last night when I came home he had vomited all over and used the bathroom all over and was acting not like his typical energetic self, when I reached down to pet him his stomach and body were solid and he would yelp in pain. I rushed him to the emergency room and they gave him some meds and said to take him to the vet in the morning. This morning after taking him to the vet they did X-rays and bloodwork and have found he has multiple blockages in his intestines. We had no choice but to send him into emergency surgery if not they said he would most likely die. With this all being said this comes at a time where financial we were not prepared for the cost of this all ($800-1300 depending on meds and other things) and was just reaching out for any help at all. Update: Just got back from the vet after the surgery they found that Harper has serious problems with his intestines and pancreas, they don’t think that he will make it through the night. They are helping him with his pain and we are hoping when and if he goes he isn’t in pain. Send your prayers!
