Threw The Flames Of Recovery

On November 13th 2017 my life changed forever. All I can remember is the flames growing bigger and hotter unable to extinguish what would soon cook my flesh. Leaving 28% of my body in 2nd & 3rd degree burns. But after 3 weeks in coma, 5 surgeries, and 2 long months in the Oregon Burn Center they had me all sewn back together with a fresh set of skin. My left side took the blunt of the fire. Losing most of the use of my left hand where now skin graphs are healing ever so slow and painfully. But I'm thankful to still have my hand. It's a long road ahead. As a Commercial Fisherman on the Oregon coast for the past 7 years and 4 years of active duty in the army with 2 combat deployments to Iraq (Mosul, IQ 2007 Amara Providence, IQ 2009-10). I never would have thought I would be asking for help. After discharge from the hospital and many trips for follow up care, physical therapy, and mental health treatment. My fishing checks are dried up, credit cards are maxed out, and I'm struggling to find work and take care of my family. In the process of getting my life put back together. I'm slowly getting back to being stable. I just moved into a new place located in Battle Mountain, NV. I'm trying to raise enough money to get a new vehicle to get back and forth to my medical appointments, visitations with my son in Oregon, and every day needs, also enough to live off of until healing enough to return to my true love of working on the ocean. My conditions caused me to miss out on the commercial crabbing season where I make a large portion of my yearly income. I truly appreciate any help in this time of need.
