Wheelchair accessible vehicle

My name is Janelle, In January of 1999 I was diagnosed with primary progressive multiple sclerosis. At that time i was working in a hospital , as a pharmacy aide, which i had to resign in July 1999 due to the onset progression of my MS. I am currently dependent on my electric wheelchair and others for my mobility.  The past 10 years have  been a daily struggle for me,  while I slowly loss my independence. I was a healthy independent person who worked daily and was able to live an active lifestyle. 

With having MS comes doctor appointments and the ability to get to them. Right now, my only transportation is a 2008 Dodge Caravan.  It was a good vehicle till recently, it is not so dependable now. For example, the other day I went to the store and was unable to get out of the van, due to the ramp not working.  It seems every time i get in the van to go do my errands something seems to be wrong now.  I worry about getting stranded or stuck in it again during climatic weather. I am in desperate need of a safe and dependable means of transportation.  A handicap accessible vehicle would not only help with my  appointments, it would also help me lead a more independent life style, and get back out into my community and live my life to the fullest.
