Mission Trip to Liberia
I am one of the youth leaders at my church, Tabernacle of Praise Church International, and I have a wonderful opportunity to travel on a youth mission to Monrovia, Liberia in July of this year with my pastor Bishop Alfred Jackson and members of our youth department. We will join with the youth of some of the churches in Monrovia in a Youth Conference where we will minister the gospel and discuss various topics that youth face in society today and how scripture speaks to these issues. We will also engage in evangelistic outreach in the New Kru Town community, do some work with the school children at Christ Missionary Assembly Elementary School and Bridge of Hope Girls School as well as have some time for recreation and site-seeing.
A few years ago, I had the opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic for missions work, and it was truly life-changing for me, and I believe the people we ministered to. In Mark 16:15, Jesus commands His disciples to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to everyone. My heart’s desire is to do just that when given the opportunity! I am particularly excited about this trip because I get to work a lot with young people, which you may know I am passionate about.
In order to do this, I need the help of as many people as possible. As you can see, the cost of this mission for me is $3000.00. This amount includes the vaccinations I will need, visa costs, airfare, lodging and food. This is where you come in! Will you be one of my sponsors for this trip?
