From my sister Sarah :
A year ago my Daughter 14 years old at the time was diagnosed with stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer. We at that time was told 20% chance with chemo and radiation, so we did it 10 months of chemo and 6 weeks radiation. Little did we know chemo Stopped working in October and her last treatment was in December. In January we was told she has six months max to live. She has been my fighting warrior princess through this all. Last night we had our pastor and his wife over for a visit. Liberty told her testimony on the day she was saved by the Lord!! Liberty then told us all that she was saved and knows she will go to heaven. TODAY WE WENT TO THE FUNERAL HOME TO START PLANNING LIBERTYS FUNERAL!!!!! I'm still sick at my stomach. But I know it was harder on Liberty. My princess warrior has wanted to be involved every step of the way. So she went with us today. Bless her !!! I wanted to add that everyone always says how are you holding up.. Of course I'm constantly asking why and not understanding. But the last couple weeks I've been trying to come to peace with this. That it is what Liberty will want. Well it is what Liberty wants. I don't know how to explain this but the peace Liberty has rubs off on you. You can feel her peace. So I've been asking God to help me get my peace back and to be here with me through the rest of our trials. God is definitely with our Liberty every single day. We take it day by day. Liberty is staying strong and fighting everyday for her life. The Drs. finally have a decent grip on libs pain and she actually was able to make some steps without help. Blessed my eyes and heart. Liberty is currently in a wheelchair and uses a walker in the house. Liberty needs assistance to do everyday easy tasks. I'll end this by saying everyday Liberty is an inspiration and I'll always be blessed because she is my daughter

Update on our warrior princess. The pain is unreal!! Saturday was a really bad day of pain which led my night to calling hospice and speaking with the weekend nurse. Doubled up on some pain meds and after 45 more mins of pain she was finally resting. Today was Riley day. They went up on Liberty's pain medicine again. Checked labs and urine. Visited with Drs on different parts of libs care and we came home. Since Liberty's last scan in December we haven't had any updates on what is going on with this cancer. Liberty lives her life stuck in a chair in pain or sleeping. Getting lib out of the house is very exhausting. The tumor growing on libs left knee has made it to where she can no longer walk. The tumor growing on Libs right arm (close to elbow) is also painful. The tumor growing on liberty's spine well her back hurts. It's unbelievable what Liberty goes through everyday all day 24-7. Our life is literally spent by the minute. As a reminder in January they told me Liberty wouldn't make it till April. We are coming into March and Liberty will finally have a PET scan. I want to know but I don't want to know. I live with my daughter that is dying of CANCER. I see 24-7 and I feel what is happening to my daughter. I have stayed in the house with Liberty since the day she could no longer take care of herself.(January 11th 2018) Minus the fast trips to grocery store. What liberty is going through is AWFUL!! There is no cure Liberty gets worse weekly. The go fund me that was set up by Michelle M Kochel is real. Michelle is my sister. All of the donations are going to go towards libs funeral. The debt from the year of Liberty fighting is already unbelievable. The funeral has to be paid in full the time of service. I'm asking everyone if they could donate $5.00. anything that could help us in this time of need. I have another funeral appointment set this week to finalize the funeral arrangements. I will be checking into a way donations can go there to pay for the funeral. If people don't trust the go fund me. I'll keep everyone posted. Please pray for Liberty and Pray for her pain. Thank you and God bless.

Here is a better update so people can understand what is going on. As stated before it's almost been a year since Liberty was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. February 28th 2017 is the day our lives turned upside down. Liberty did go through 43 weeks of chemotherapy. 33 radiation treatments. The chemo did stop working after October 2nd 2017!! December 20th 2017 PET SCAN showed the cancer had spread. When we got results from October's scan Liberty had 5 small spots remaining in her body. (That was good considering Liberty's body was full of cancer cells and when diagnosed she had 2 weeks to a month to live if we didn't start treatment. ) Fast forward to the month of January 2018. January 10th liberty started a study trial and has been taking a 60mg chemo pill at home daily. We go to Riley once a week for labs and test and to see about 5 different Drs from different parts of Liberty's treatment. January 11th Liberty's world turned again and she was no longer able to walk, get her self dressed, or use the restroom without assistance. So January 16th 2018 we go to Riley. We discuss everything that has happened and the Drs go to work on trying to take away Liberty's pain with pain meds. Liberty is then set up with Hospice. Dr explains to us the truth that day. Dr said with Liberty's case this cancer life span is 6 months or less. Dr said this can go fast or go slow. As her mother I watch her go through this daily and to be fine one day and crippled the next I started fearing the cancer was spreading fast. Fast forward to where we are today. We have had a few more Dr appointments and Liberty's pain continues. Liberty uses a walker around the house where she sits on it and I push her. And a wheelchair for when we are out and about. Drs have had a few more heart to hearts with us. They expressed they don't see Liberty making it to April. Which April 25th 2018 will be Liberty's 16 Birthday. The Drs believe the cancer is spreading. Liberty has a tumor on her right arm that you can see clearly. Liberty has a tumor on her left leg starting at the knee and going up. She also has a tumor on her spine. The chemo pill Liberty takes is to prolong her life and to hopefully save another child from the study research they are running. We did go plan Liberty's funeral January 26th 2018. Hardest day of our lives. This go fund me is set up so we can give Liberty a proper funeral. Everyone asks how they can help. This is how you can help. Thank you and God bless. #LIBERTYSTRONG
