Mikkis Medical Fund

Hi everyone. My beautiful lady Mikki James was diagnosed with MS about 9 years ago and needless to say it’s been an uphill battle ever since. When she was diagnosed she was going back to college with the hopes of achieving a biology degree. She was doing very well with her studies and consistently she made it onto the deans list, scholarships from NASA and STEM and always maintained a nearly 4.0 gpa. With the onset of MS school became very difficult for her and ultimately had to make the very difficult decision to drop out due to her memory retention sharply dwindling away. She’s since started treatment for the disease which has mostly been beneficial but if you know about MS and the treatment, it does not bring back what has been lost. Recently we’ve learned about a Stem Cell treatment that has the potential to possibly give her a new lease on life and hopefully bring back some quality of life that she hasn’t had in years. She is scheduled to get this treatment in the early part of February and we had to pay for it on a credit card since the treatment is still considered experimental and not covered by any insurance. It is very hard for us to ask our friends and family for help in paying for this as we are fairly proud people and the thought of having to go this route humbles us to the core. So I am asking you all, if you can find it in your hearts to help Mikki and I pay for this costly treatment, we will be deeply appreciative and even more humbled by any generosity that you may send our way.
