Help pay Daisy Mae's Medical Bill

Donazione protetta
Before you read Miss Daisies story, I need to THANK all of you that have donated so far. I have withdrawn $700.00 from her GoFundMe to pay on the bill. I appreciate how hard the vets staff worked to save my baby girls life. Now here is her story... Our Teeny Tiny Mighty Miss Daisy Mae is 5 years old. She is one of the most precious, friendly and loving 4lb Chihuahuas you will ever know.  She fought with all her might in the hospital for a week and scared me. Daisy got pregnant and everything went according to nature until January 16th during labor. Everything went wrong.    Daisy's first pup was stillborn, swelled and could not deliver naturally. We took her to the vet immediately. They gave her an epesiatomy and the pup was delivered and taken away.  Once that pup was expelled the second pup came. The pup was alive but also did not survive. The vet took an Xray and found a little pup hiding  way up high. The vet did an emergency C-section because labor was just depleting our poor girl. The pup was delivered and everything appeared to be fine and we were sent home with Mama, baby and formula. We put Miss Daisy and the little one in the prepared cage and things seemed ok for about an hour. I looked at my girl and she just layed there staring at me with fear and question in her eyes. She was cold, her pup was cold but alive. Daisy was stiff and could not move.  I took her outside and she could do nothing. I brought her into the house and noticed her ears were pale, her gums were white and she was seizing.   I called the vet immediately and she met us at the office. Miss Daisy had to stay because her calcium and sugar was so low. I had to walk away from my baby for a few days that felt like a month. I had to take baby with me to keep her alive while mommy was in the hospital. Unfortunately, little girl passed away at 6:30 am. Broke my heart. Daddy's little, was already spoken for and I had the heart wrenching job to tell her new mommy that her pup passed. We went to see Daisy and her little face was so swollen you could hardly recognize her. The vet never lied to us and I appreciate that. Daisy was a very very sick little lady and at this point. The vet told me they don' t want me to expect to bring her home but, they are working hard to save her.  She needs Daisy to fight and she is so tired. I finally came to the conclusion that we may lose our precious Daisy. I cried so hard I could not stop. If you knew her, you would understand. One of the techs took Daisy home for the weekend to nurse her one on one. I received amazing updates all weekend but was afraid to think positive.  I was woken up on Monday, January 22, 2018 by Dr. Ruth asking if I want to bring Daisy Mae home. I jumped out of my bed so fast, screamed yes. Oh I never thought I would bring my baby home again. When we got to the vet, they had her meds ready, urgent care food ready, her paperwork ready and the bill. Oh yeah the bill. I thought it would be more than it was but it was not small and it will continue to rise. At this point, I have a payment arrangement but this will take a long time to pay off.  When Dr. Ruth brought our sweetness out to us, Daisys eyes brightened up, She wagged her tail and licked our faces like crazy. She didn't know who she wanted first. I was pleased to see how different one weekend with a loving human 24/7 made on our girl. Daisy is not out of the woods yet but, she is doing well. She has been eating on her own, drinking, peeing and finally the other expulsion for the first time. We are happy happy K9 parents. Her buddy Chewey is glad she is back but, not sure Daisy is ready to see him yet. Daisy's ordeal is not over. Her uterus has infected her poor little body. We are still waiting for her to heal enough to take care of other surgeries that may be needed. We were home for a few hours and so many people have asked me to do the GoFundMe thing and I have been reluctant but, I believe this bill needs to be paid ASAP. Not a year or two down the road. Because I do not know if Daisy is out of danger, I am asking for this amount. The vet office has a fund for emergency situations that become expensive. We put $100.00 down immediately and the vets office took $250.00 off our bill.  I truly appreciated the donation from the Gersha Fund.  Additional meds, urgent care food, possible surgeries and checkups, our bill will continue to add up. If I can raise this amount, whatever is left over from our final total, we plan to donate this money to an animal foundation to help pups in emergency financial needs. Please help us with Daisy Mae's bill and the donation in her name... Thank you and keep praying for her to heal 100%... I love all of you who have said prayers, supported and sent love for our Sweet "Teeny Tiny Mighty Daisy Mae"...
