Veteran down on his luck.

Hello everyone this is really hard for me to do but I'm at the point now where I have no other choice besides standing on a corner and beg for money. I will tell you my situation and ask for any support I can get from friends and family. 

Back in November I was honorably discharged from the military as many of you already know. The part I haven't told anyone is the issues I have had since. First I was unemployed for three months and no income, the state denied me unemployment due to me having made too much money at my previous employer (US Navy). So I applied for food stamps. I was awarded it for two months while I looked for a job. I found a job shortly after which made a decent amount of money for the first three weeks then the issues started, they cut my hours and eventually let me go. My pay went from 1200 every two weeks to 600 every two weeks. Which was barely enough to pay our rent. I found a better job soon after but the bills had already piled up. The state says I do not qualify for food stamps or any other state assistance because of my income. I make 2400 a month but I'm $1600.00 behind on my bills combined. My phone, Internet, TV, water, and electricity are on the verge of being shut off because of my set backs. I'm pretty sure everyone can understand job transitions are hard and income is never a guarantee.  

This is where I am now and aside from standing on a corner I have no other assets to liquidate. So here is the part where I ask for what I need. Again any help would mean the world to my family. 

I need to gather the $1600.00 to get my family out of the situation I am in and then my income will be able to support all of our bills. Thank you all for taking the time to read this and thank you for your support.
