50th Reunion Fund - LHS Class of '69 Logan WV

1969!! A year to remember!! Apollo moon landing!! Woodstock!! And THE BIGGEST AND BEST GRADUATING CLASS in the history of Logan High School, Logan, West Virginia. Mark your calendars for October 4th, 5th, 6th 2019 (we may have a few plans for early-bird arrivals on the 3rd). The great class of 1969 will be celebrating our 50th year reunion!!! Can you believe it??? Let's pull out all the stops, spare no expense, and party like it's 1969!!!
In an effort to keep down the event fees for all classmates, this GoFundMe account has been set up for our "reunion fund", ( donations from '69 classmates only), to help pay for the "extras" that will help make this the special event that it deserves to be. Our individual event fee ($80 per person) when you register will cover the food and venue rental for two nights and the cost of the band for Saturday night. Several people have expressed a willingness to chip in financially to help with the cost of the "extras". SEVERAL CLASSMATES HAVE ALREADY DONATED SPECIFIC ITEMS - MARKETING AND MAILING FEES HAVE BEEN DONATED, ITEMS FOR PHOTO BOOTH HAVE BEEN DONATED, LUNCH ON SATURDAY AT COUNTRY CLUB AFTER THE GOLF OUTING WILL BE COVERED BY CLASSMATES. BUT WE STILL NEED MORE FUNDS SO OUR COMMITTEE WILL BE ABLE TO DO EVERYTHING THEY HAVE PLANNED. WE NEED MONEY FOR THE FOLLOWING EXTRAS: special keepsake favors, door prizes, decorations - whatever we can afford - all suggestions welcome. After all, it's the BIG 5-0!!!
No pressure to contribute and no contribution is too small. You can contribute anonymously or by name (or by "alias" - haha), whatever your choice. The more money we can collect from those able and willing, the more we can add to our celebration. Let's enable our reunion committee to plan the best event possible with no cost restraints. Let's see if we can meet, and even exceed our goal. Our committee will give regular updates on our Facebook page.
Of course, the thing that will make it most special is seeing YOU there!!
