Bears Recovery And A Plea For Help

Hi all,
With much worry, I am reaching out in hopes that we will be able to reach our goal in order to cover our sweet Bears vet bills and recovery. As many of you know, Bear is a very special boy to me and my family, and especially to his dad Brett and his family.
Bear is a loving, snuggly, and sweet dog that anyone who’s ever met him has just fallen in love with his gentle and playful nature. He means the world to us.
To us he is just the perfect dog. All he ever wants to do is just get as close to you as he possibly can just to show you how much he adores you-even if it’s your first time meeting him. He holds such a precious place in our hearts and we hurt knowing we can’t make him better.
Last week he started showing signs of being ill, but vets told his dad, Brett, that it was probably just doggy flu, not to worry, and “it will pass.” By Saturday he hadn’t gotten better. He started throwing up, stopped drinking water, and no longer wanted to eat. Worried, Brett took him to the vet and he’s been there since. Vets have tried everything they can to make him better, but nothing seems to be working. They aren’t sure what is making him so sick, and today we found out his health is declining quite rapidly.
Bear has such a large support system surrounding him, but there was only so much that we were able to provide for him and his care. We feel so lost. The veterinary hospital needs to run more tests, and we are so scared and helpless..He won’t even lift his head or wag his tail when his dad walks in to visit.
We’ve done everything we can and are asking for help in order to figure out what’s wrong with him. All donations will go straight toward his vet bills and care once they are able to diagnose him properly. Let’s get Bear back home to his dad.
