50 YEARS TOGETHER (film)

Now in our second year of studying Filmmaking at the University of West of England, it is time to start off our new project which will be a great opportunity for further film festival distribution.
We believe this film is important to make as we want to push our boundaries to create a visually unique film and also because we want to make a film where all of you can relate to it, whether its about politics or its about family.
Story:
In a parallel England, a golden wedding anniversary breaks under the strain of the Communist regime. A family of three are preparing to host an anniversary party for the grandparents. Through the film we follow their conversation about the recent elections and family struggles until the new secret police arrests, Adam, the ex-university professor turned journalist for his last inflammatory article that goes against the new regime. The family has to go to lengths there is no coming back from to save him.
Donations for the film will go towards costs such as:
- Buying Props
- Funding Travel
- Marketing & Distributing the film
- Additional Post-production costs
