Luke John’s Medical Fund
Luke is Standard Poodle. He went to go see the veterinarian on January 2,2018. They said he had a nasal cavity tumor that most likely was cancer. He gave me options to put him down or a referral for an oncologist. Being that I don't have the money, but know he deserves a chance I contacted my friend who has funded the testing on credit so far. All tests have shown there is no cancer in the chest, lymph nodes, and brain. We are waiting biopsy results to get a treatment plan. To date his bills are 14,810.89 . I have been told that cancer treatment can get into the 10,000 range and credit is running out. Anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated. Please, help Luke get a chance. #TeamLukeJohn ... @TeamLukeJohn.. Has been cleared for his appointment for the eye doctor. He has gained weight and even some hair is growing back on his scalp. On March 7, he will be celebrating his Birthday.. He is still under the care of the oncologist and has been doing great with his recovery. He has been getting back to his normal routine of eating Kibble and enjoying home cooked meals. We can’t Thank You all enough for your support .. The oncologist understands our finical situation so she will be seeing LUKE in 6 weeks and we can call for any changes . Let’s get this done so LUKE can get the help he needs ... ❤️ The Picture shows his eye now and the area behind the eye once had the tumor .. The tumor no longer is pushing the eye or the nasal area. The eye doctor will tell us more, on how much the eye and area was effected .
#TeamLukeJohn.. The oncologist visit on 02/09/18 was a positive visit. The tumor is shrinking and he is able to breath with both nostrils. He currently lost his hair but it’s a small issue that can be dealt with in time . #TeamLukeJohn is able to eat Kibble on his own and even rip into meat when given a chance. He will return to the oncologist for follow in 3 weeks . He has been taken off pain medication other then past medication for his hips ;only as needed . His eye is clearing up and he has more movement in his head to see with it .
#TeamLukeJohn.. On February 3, LUKE went to the groomer, just one month after his diagnosis of Nasal Cancer. He has been going to the same Groomer for 10 years and knowing our struggles . She Donated her Professional Services for #TeamLukeJohn.. I am blessed to have so much support now as this struggle each day is real with Cancer .. Watch Cancer destroy lives doesn’t have to happen when we can support #TeamLukeJohn... Thank You for your Donations and sharing ..
