Corrections Officer needs help

Officer Jason A. Smith has been a Corrections Officer at Orange County Corrections Department since August 2001. In April 2017 he was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, an incurable cancer that effects the bones. Due to treatments of chemo and two crushed vertebrates in his lower back, he is unable to work. Before the diagnosis he was the main provider for his family. He already has medical bills exceeding over $50,000, with more to come. The doctors have a treatment plan for him, but he has a long road to recovery. Officer Smith was without insurance four the last four months, but thankfully he is on his wife's insurance now.
