Appalachian Trail Hike

Hi everyone. For those of you who don't know me my name is Roger Forkner and I am from Abilene Texas and I am 53 years young .I'm hiking the Appalachian Trail  I have been on the trail since April 27th this year I have self-funded my hiking equipment and the beginning of my journey and I need your help with the completion of the trail.I have gone through one pair of hiking boots already and of course had to stay in hostels and hotels because of weather. I'm hiking the Appalachian Trail for all the people in my life that I have recently lost and all the people that just can't get out there and do it. I have already seen and done such amazing things and met amazing people . I still have 4 to 5 months on the trail . It is a  mind and body Journey for sure. My  plan is to write about my experience after I finish. Any donation would be much appreciated as I have to buy toothpaste ,food, clothing anything you can think of on a day-to-day basis plus all the other stuff that you may never think of .
