Prayers for Annabelle

On August 12th, 2015 Nicole & Brian Demedeiros were given the most earth shattering news any parent could imagine. Their 4 yr old daughter Annabelle, who had become very ill over the previous 5 days, needed to be transported to BC Children's Hospital as all symptoms were pointing to cancer. The next few days included endless tests, scans, biopsies & a transfusion.
 On August 17th, the doctors gave them a diagnosis of Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Annabelle begins her first treatment of chemotherapy right away. She will have 5 cycles of chemo and further treatment after. Sometime down the road there may be surgery as well as radiation treatment. 
 Annabelle has an incredibly long journey ahead of her. At this point it is expected Annabelle and Nicole will remain in Vancouver for at least a year. As you all know Vancouver is very far away from their hometown of Terrace. Brian & Vienna (Annabelle's little sister) will try to spend as much time as possible in Vancouver over the next year but no definite plans have been made.
 Annabelle is an absolute ray of sunshine with a beautiful smile that lights up the room. She is a wonderful big sister and loves to dance and play dress up with her friends.
