Funeral and Traveling expenses

Donation protected
On Sunday May 27 after 63 years my father Antonio Soto Perez passed away. An overall healthy, active and still young man. Always professional, super dedicated to me and his grandaughters was challenge with a massive heart attack that took his life.

During his life he dedicated his all to me and after more than 30 years of work he retired so he could move in with us and help me out with my kids. In reality he just want it to be surround it by the people who love him and that he loved back.

My worst nightmare has become true and We lost him way sooner that any of us imagine it was going to happen. We love him and we have always support each other in everything. It was so unexpected that saying that we where emotionally and financially unprepared is an understatement.

At this time as many of you know funeral expenses are over the moon. Plus is rather important to honor his sacrifice and memory by taking his remains back to Puerto Rico where he was born and raised. And to be beside his mother’s mausoleum who he love tremendously.

We also have the challenge of his medical expenses that we will have to cover since he didnt have health insurance. Even though the Social Security will cover a part of it the majority of the expenses will be have to be paid by us.

All this traveling medical and funeral expenses had become a real financial challenge for us. Adding the fact that I have had to quit my job as well since without my father my daughter’s caretaking is in the air as well.

It is not easy for me to do something like this but I would have to swallow my pride and ask for help in such delicate time. I will tremendously appreciate any help you can provide. No matter how small I will always be eternally appreciative of your love.

Thank you to all of you who send your sweet thoughts and who has being messaging me nonstop. I am truly devastated there is no words to explain how my heart is doing right now and I am just trying to keep it together just like he would want it me to be. Its so much to be done and I feel like drowning. Still I will find a way to honor my dad’s wishes one way or the other and I appreciate all of you showing me your love with your messages and support all this past couple days.
