Love For Vicki (stg 4 cancer battle)

Vicki's story Vicki was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer that has metastasized to the lymph nodes, and brain. She had just moved and bought a house in Florida to retire with her husband Daniel on June 31st. A week later she coughed up blood and Daniel took her to a local Hospital. While at the hospital we learned that the insurance from the state of Indiana was inneffective. Vicki's son Henry went to visit the first week of August to assist taking her to see an oncologist. The single office cost was $220. Her medications are $100s of dollars a month. Some medications she must refuse due to cost. All of her treatments, appointmemts, and medication must be recieved through moffit cancer treatment center in Tampa Bay. Mom and dad live in Lake Placid. (190 miles away ) Vicki is only 59 years old and can not get social security or work a job. Daniel is retired and suffered a stroke in December. She does not have insurance because both the state of Indiana and Florida say the other should pay . We are currently fighting this legal battle as well as the health battle.
