Funeral Costs For My Mum

On Monday 6th November at 7.30pm I had a phone call from Fairfield hospital, my mum was in critical condition and they said there was a very high chance that she wouldn’t make it! I arrived at the hospital at 8pm not expected what I walked into. My mum was bleeding from every hole in her body, she was unconscious but fitting, she couldn’t breathe by herself! I didn’t know what to do! The doctor put me In a tiny square room and asked me “what do you want us to do?” I begged him to do everything! When I went back and sat by my mums side I noticed a bump on her head, I told the doctor and he set her for an emergency CT scan! My heart was broken, they told me they would put her on a machine to help her breath, they would have to put tubes in her lungs to get the blood out and that she had so much internal bleeding they didn’t know where it was actually coming from! They wheeled my mum off to her CT scan and told me that after the scan they would take her upto ICU I went up to ICU, gave her a kiss, told her I loved her and begged her to stay strong, I left the hospital at almost 1am and returned the following day, I told my younger brother and sister how poorly there mum was and that she was on life support, from there me and my brother went to visit her, she was hooked up to all sorts of machines having blood transfusions, breathing machines, drips, it was horrible!! At 5pm on Tuesday 7th November two doctors and two nurses took me into a room, they told me that she had so many strokes they couldn’t count, they said she had so many clots in her brain she was brain dead! My heart sunk! They told me that the life support machines needed turning off and I was the one the make that decision as her advocate and next of kin! I held it off until all of the family that could come came and told them to take the machine away at 6.30pm! My brother and I stayed by my mothers bedside for a long 3 days before she took her last breath at 4.20pm on Friday 10th November! My mum left behind 3 children and 2 granddaughters (my children) with no way to support financially, we are all devastated. At 21 years of age I never thought I would be left without my mother and father and with 2 young children to support myself finding the money would be a struggle. My younger siblings are 15 and 11 so I’m left alone to make sure she has the funeral she deserves! I pray that no one will ever go threw the pain and heart ache me and my family have gone threw this week and hope that you can find it in your hearts to spare anything that may help and share so that we can lay my mummy to rest at peace with our daddyRIP to a beloved mother, Grandmother, Sister, Niece and Aunt we love you forever and always mummy, you was never perfect but you was mine

We are now left with no cause of death pending investigation.
