Breast Cancer Hits Truckers Too

Hi, my name is Lisa Hubbard and I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I live in Fort Worth, Texas with my daughter, Denise, my boyfriend Steven, and our good friend Phil. We have five dogs and two cat, and we love our big family! 
On October 2, 2013 I was told that I have breast cancer. After a routine mammogram, I received a biopsy, and the bad news. I was very lucky, and we caught it early, but it's still scary. The doctor told me that I needed to have a single masectomy at the end of October. They also told me that I might need to have the other one removed, but I'm not sure about that just yet.
I've been a truck driver for 19 years now. I've driven long distance, rock trucks, sand trucks, and flat beds. I love my job, and don't see myself doing anything else, but now I'm going to have to take time off of work for my surgery and recovery.
Which is where I need your help. I am going to be out of work for six weeks at least, and I'm not sure how I am going to make ends meet while I'm not making a paycheck. My bills don't get a 6 week recovery period, and the doctors don't get paid in hugs. We are all doing our best to make the money, but I just don't think we will have enough.
I am asking for your donations for two things; first and foremost to help pay the bills around the house while I am recovering. Monthly, they total about $2,000. Not too crazy, I know, but without an income that will add up very quickly. Secondly, the medical bills. I have health insurance through the local health system(JPS) but it only covers so much.
Normally, I don't have a problem handling my bills, medical or otherwise, but six weeks is a long time. Thank you for looking at my page, and I appreciate you considering helping me.
