Three years ago I was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), or "Lou Gehrig's Disease" - a terminally progressive neurodegenerative disease.

My diagnosis has helped to motivate me to spend my remaining time making the world a better place. So I am leading a group to create the Inspire MEdia Network. A sort of 'good news network', this nonprofit multi-media organization is dedicated to providing hope and inspiration by producing, funding and sharing stories of perseverance and goodwill.

And that is where we need your help.

If you'd like to learn a little more about what we're trying to do, I invite you to check out a recent dream we were able to realize as part of this journey to positively impact the lives of others.

Thank you in advance for your consideration and support.

Forever inspired,

Chris

I just read about you on a Facebook post by a friend. I think what you are doing for your daughter is one of the greatest gifts you can give her. My father was diagnosed w/ALS at 42 and passed away at 44, I was 7. As a 41 year old women I am constantly looking for connections with my dad. He was highly involved in my life. My one wish is that I had letters from him. I am forever grateful when family and friends tell me about him. It allows my adult self know him as an adult. Keep on fighting the good fight. Your daughter will learn to never give up as a result of the lesson she learned by watching you.

On December 26, 2013 our dear friend Greg Podgorny died from ALS. He and his smile continue to be an inspiration to us every day. When we saw you on Sunday Morning we knew it was true that those with ALS tend to bring a peace and love to this world that others cannot imagine. We lost our son Sean from kidney/liver disease on July 5, 2013 and I keep a picture of our friend Greg on our frig with his incredible smile that helps me make it through my own grief. Bless you and what you are doing with your life.

You are truly an inspiration, as was my sister Linda Rockefeller. Even after she couldn't walk or talk, she was still touching people's lives. She was always happy and grateful for every day. You share that same spirit!

Tried to contact Chris thru Facebook. I wanted to pass on some info about a 10 year ALS survivor, his research, his regimen, his story can all be found at http://home.goulburn.net.au/~shackel/mytheory.htm Chris is from my home town and I was inspired by both Chris and Steve's stories. Thanks for making this a great day for me. Hope you have many great days also. Jack

I saw you on the news tonight about the Krispy Kreme Donuts. You have a great positive outlook on life! Most people wouldn't have that after receiving news like you have. However, I would be remiss if I did not ask you if you knew where you were going after you died? Do you know Jesus Christ as you Savior? If you don't, may I ask you to consider asking the Lord Jesus in prayer to sincerely forgive you of every sin that you have ever committed. Declare your love and devotion for Him and then after you have done all that start reading your Bible everyday. Tell your family about your change of heart and that they too need to find Christ and ask forgiveness. Jesus will be coming back for his Saints in the very near future. All the signs are there. Do you want your family left behind? I will be praying for you and your family for salvation and hope to see all of you in heaven!
