It is absolutely central to the Muslim identity to feel care and compassion for one’s fellow human beings. With that being said on the 14th October a deadly blast occurred in Mogadishu Somalia so deadly that it killed over 300 people, sent 500 into casualties and many many more unaccounted for.
This is described to be the worst blast to have happened in East African history and as the Muslim youth we have a duty to our brothers and sisters in Islam to donate whatever we can manage. As a group of Muslim girls we have pledged to raise £1000 as part of the SYFI Somali youth for integrity team with everyone’s help and dua we can reach our goal in sha allah.SADAQA ONLY INCREASES US IN HEALTH
I am a uni student in hopes of helping the less fortunate in war-stricken countries like Somalia
I pledged to raise £1000 for charity for a charity formed by university kids and I am a part of them.
the way everyone was doing it was to get the money in cash and then sent to the affected area.
as I have raised the rest of the money through cake sales and events I wanted to just withdraw this money in the gofundme and put in with the rest of the money and then hand it over to the charity who will send the money to people affected by the disasters in Somalia.
as a group, we have raised £60,000+ this money will feed and clothe and shelter families that have had their houses destroyed in the blasts.
I would like to have the money withdrawn into my bank account for immediate action in cashing it.
after the withdrawal, i would like to close this gofundme account as I will be doing another for February called the February Fundraiser.
