Giving Tuesday - medical fundraiser

Chip N Snip is solely committed to saving dogs be it through rescue or aiding low income families with medical emergencies. Many of you have seen Remy and his story as he continues his medical care. This fund is to help our current medical dogs and to raise funds for future medical dogs as well. Currently we have two new intakes who are both hospitalized. Bitsy who is a 3 pound, 2 month old puppy who was thought to have neurological issues but instead we found she was positive for parvovirus. She is currently receiving supportive care and hospitalized. Her white cell count was only 1.5 at intake and her glucose dangerously low. She has since stabilized in the last 24 hours but will require a few more days of care. Our second new intake is Bane. Bane was picked up stray with a traumatic injury to his rear paw. Bane is on the other end of the spectrum with his white cell count very high. Currently we are hoping to save his foot with the assistance of our amazing veterinarians at Vergi 24/7. He had a thorough exam and it was found he has a large laceration that removed the bottom of his poor. I will spare you gory details but will say he will require multiple bandage changes along with wound care then surgery to try and save his foot.
