"Cancer Is Not Picky"

Our story: A father, son, husband, grandpa, great-grandpa, and one of the most kind hearted people you'll ever meet. Throughout our busy lives, sometimes we meet people that stay in our thoughts. And chances are if you met my grandpa, you wouldn't forget him. My grandpa has spent over half his life unintentionally doing things, that have convinced me he is one of the greatest people I'll ever know. Paired with the love of his life (my grandma) they have never stopped to think before helping someone. Even when it's come back to bite them in the butt. They have raised, housed, helped, funded countless friends, kids, and family. Even strangers in need they have helped. And rarely, very rarely have they ever gotten anything in return. But that's okay to them, they've never thought "what's in it for me". They are genuine. Growing up I never thought of my grandpa as less than superman himself. I really thought he was indestructible, but, lung cancer isn't picky. To loose one of my grandparents has always been one of my biggest fears. And I hope someone out there will take it in their hearts to help me give back to someone who has given everything for others. On a personal level: Now me personally, I owe quite a debt of gratitude to my grandparents. My timeline is complicated, but the bottom line is I needed my grandparents to raise me for most of my life (keep in mind they have already spent most of their lives rasing kids). And instead of living out their golden years in peace they decided to give it up so I could have the resources and support I needed to be a productive person in the world. And when you think about that, it truly is a sacrifice. I mean they could've went to Hawaii with all the money spent on just my shoes and rides to practices growing up. My grandpa has touched the hearts of many, and i just want to be able to give back. My goal: My goal is $5,180.00, this will buy just 4 bottles of nausea pills needed during chemo therapy. -I know my grandparents would not like to be named, or have their picture on here. I would also like to add they have not asked any one for help, but I hope someone out there will help us. Thank you for taking your time to read this and god bless.
