David "slider" was struck by a car,driven by an intoxicated individual, at a very high rate of speed. American Legion Post 5 riders were on their way to steal the traveling trophy Sunday morning and the very unexpected happened... David and his family are going to have a very long road ahead...He had his left leg amputated below the knee, he also had surgery to reattach his head back to his neck, which is commonly known as internal decapitation. He will be out of work for many months and Jennifer will be on FMLA for awhile as well. They are going to need as much help as possible to help raise their 3 kids that are still in the home.
