Camillah is a delicate flower but a tough cookie!
Everything and everyone has a purpose and a reason in life. My daughter Camillah's, purpose in life is to bring sunshine and a deep and unabiding love to our lives. She has undergone numerous medical tests, surgical procedures and follow-up appointments. By giving her a comfortable way to travel, she would be able to look at the pretty scenery without any fear of creating greater orthopedic concerns because her body would be in proper alignment. An adult also has to sit in back close to her because she may need to be suctioned, and it would be more comfortable for her to be cared for in the back seat.
Camillah has always been a fighter. It is my path in life to see how far she will progress. She has fought through a congenital heart defect tetralogy of fallot, agenesis of corpus callosum, cystic renal dysplasia, congenital torticollis, congenital anomaly of cervical spine, gastroesophageal reflux disease, epilepsy, venous malformation, history of cleft lip/palate, brain ischemia, curvature of thoracic spine, asthma and developmental disability. Now our greatest struggle is to transport her safely to numerous doctor appointments as well as to therapeutic appointments. For example, we are going to hippo therapy which is about an hour and 20 minutes away from our home. Camillah already has scoliosis which may be made worse by transfering her from wheel chair or my arms to the car seat. Therefore, I would like to respectfully ask for a van that is wheelchair accesible.
