"To know God and make Him known." That is the mission statement of Youth With a Mission (YWAM) and we agree!
We are Julian and Louisa Klein and we are twins. We are half German, half American and are 18 years old. Ministry has always been a big part of our lives. In 2009 our parents left lucrative jobs to step into a life of ministry and were under full support as missionaries. We benefited from that example in their household and trust that God will provide for us the same way he has provided for our parents when we were living with them. Through the support of others, we have had the opportunity to be involved in ministry in China, India, the Philippines, Germany and America. As Jesus freaks, we want to lead a life of ministry.
We have just graduated from high School in China. Instead of going straight to College, we decided to dedicate a year to grow deeper in our personal walks with Christ and to become further equipped to reach others by doing a Discipleship Training School (DTS).
The 6-month long DTS will consists of two Phases:
The Lecture Phase will be spent on campus in Germany, where we will have the chance to be spiritually refreshed, learn a lot, and meet new people as we learn, pray, spend time in small groups, and are focused on His Word. By September 24, 2017 we need 3,900€ ($4,635).
The Outreach Phase will be spent serving abroad, putting into practice the things that we have learned. By October 31, 2017 we need another 4,400€ ($5,232).
We hope that this year of growth and service will usher us into a lifetime of ministry.
