HELP HOUSTON FROM THE GROUND UP

I'm a Swede living in Houston. My child is a Swedish American. I'm invested in Houston as well as my hometown Skara. I was raised as many Swedes were to take care of your family, friends, neighbors, and fellow countrymen. Houston has experienced the worst flooding in 300 years. I have been helping Harvey victims. I have been personally buying supplies and delivering to them.Seeing people on the verge of losing it with only their minds to actually lose because they've lost everything else. It's heart breaking. But one must not invest in coddling one's feeling. One must act. Alla vägar bär till Rom. All Roads lead to RomeMeaning: There are many different routes to the same goal. This is one. All proceeds will go to helping victims of Hurricane Harvey. We will continue with supplies for victims located at the major shelters (NRG & George R Brown). Volunteers will provide their own cars and gas. As victims are displaced to hotels and motels and not as visible, we will be working with different schools to support/sponsor students who don't have school supplies and/or uniforms/clothes. HISD will be giving students 3 meals a day. We will also help local unions like IBEW, getting people back to work with the proper tools.
