Saving Samantha
Donation protected
On July 5th, 2015, 16 month old Samantha suffered a near drowning accident in her grandparents pool in Essexville, Michigan. She was given CPR by her Grandmother and revived with help from medical personnel. She was airlifted to Covenant Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan where she began her long road to recovery. Samantha spent her first 2 months with inpatient rehab at Mott Children’s Hospital.
Since then Samantha has been making remarkable progress and is showing some amazing signs. This past April, Samantha received a stem cell transplant in hopes of helping her make even more progress.
This summer, on July 27th, I, Ben Phelps, will be running a marathon in attempts to raise money to help pay for part of the stem cell transplant. All the money raised will go directly to the family to help with Samantha’s medical bills. If you donate you $10 or more you are entered to win a gift card to a few local places here in Saline. And the person with the largest donation receive a gift card to the place of there choice!
Thank you to everyone who has donated and please share this link with your friends and family so we can raise as much possible!
