As some of you may have seen recently, there is a lot of awareness being raised on the topic of brain cancer. I thought I'd start a little fund as this cruel condition is very close to my own heart.
My father was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer whilst I was playing rugby overseas and I still remember the phone call...he passed away suddenly and it completely crushed me. I can still feel the pain and the emptiness I felt inside.
I'm hoping this donation will help other families with whatever they require at a time of need and desperation. No one or family should ever go through something like this and whether it's $1 or $100 you're helping someone or someone's family deal with a life changing event.
