Help Save A Life, PLEASE!!!

Our mother, Donna is 54 years old fighting stage 4 rectal cancer. She was diagnosed on December 2016 with stage 2 cancer. She was told, by her doctor, that with a laparoscopic procedure the tumor could be removed. Although the day she went in, minutes before her procedure, her doctor decided to put her under the knife instead. Following that surgery, where they cut her open, the cancer had spread all over her body. A hernia came, that has grown now to the size of a cantaloupe, and it is blocking her intestines. She had to have colostomy bag for 4 months, and may possibly need a permanent one now. All of this ending with 27 staples from her groin to breastbone. Needless to say, it was a nightmare. This left ongoing health issues with our mom and each year her cancer spread, and is now stage 4. Her doctor told her last month she had 6 months to live without chemo or 3 years with chemo. The chemo makes her sick, weak, and depressed. It is very difficult on her. She has lost an immense amount of weight. Her health declined tremendously over the last year. No one deserves to live this way. After bouncing from doctor to doctor she has decided to take a more holistic approach. She wants to focus on her health so she is able to enjoy the days she does have, spending time with family, and playing with her granddaughters.

Our mom has been our rock our entire life. She is the strongest woman we know, and she loves bigger than anyone. She is the best grandma to her 2 granddaughters who are her world. Our mom deserves find peace and healing so we are doing everything we can to help her.
We have been integrating holistic approaches for body healing. After doing multiple research, and reaching out to others in her shoes, she really believes she can overcome this so long as she can get the right help. We found a holistic doctor who was highly referred by multiple people, who has had very good success rates. People from all over the world come to see him. This treatment is $20,000 and is not covered by her insurance. We started this goFund me in hopes that we can raise enough money to help in covering these cost.
