Kari was taken off of the ventilator today and passed away at 1:00 PM with John by her side. Kari continues to help others as she did in every day of her life by donating her organs.

49 year old Mother of 8 on life support
We are starting this page for my sister Kari and her family. Monday morning Kari suffered a massive heart attack and seizure and was life-flighted to the hospital where she is currently on life support. Her doctors have determined that given her current condition, Kari will not wake up. She’s on life support pending organ donation on Saturday and will be taken off shortly after.
Kari is a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She’s a mother of 8, 5 adult children and 3 young special needs children. Kari’s children have also blessed her with 6 grandchildren. Kari is the homemaker and heart of her family. She’s a caring nurturing person who is always selflessly taking care of everyone around her. She spends a lot of time advocating for her young boys and making sure they get what they need to be successful in school and in life. Because of her young children she held a special place in her heart for autism spectrum disorder support. She advocated for the advancement of autistic children’s care and pushed to get schools to provide them with tools needed to thrive.
Another one of Kari’s passions was her support of the United States Military. 3 of her adult children were enlisted in the army, with one of her sons still enlisted as active duty military. Kari supported all her children in whatever endeavors and paths they have taken in their lives.
We are starting this page to help raise money for her medical bills and funeral expenses. She and her husband have been tirelessly working to pay off medical bills from an event last year and the family will now have more medical bills and funeral expenses. Help us lessen their financial burden during this horrific unimaginable time and donate here if you can.
