Need Medical Help For My Furbaby

My cat just came home with his leg mutilated and his leg hanging on by a thread. Raced him to the vet, which gave me two choices, to pay huge vet fees to operate and he would survive or to put him down, and I could never bring myself to do that to him! Now I have to come up with the funds of about $3000 for x- rays, antibiotic pain killers and surgery. I'm currently a full time student and I'm asking for any assistance no matter how little, every donation would be greatly appreciated!!!! I was given two options and of course I couldn't say no, but now I am faced with the dilemma of how to pay the bill... Not only being upset of finding him in this state but getting to the vet and finding that they were more concerned about the bill before they would even treat him!!!! So upset and disappointed !!!! they have a vet loan service, but was only willing to loan me $750, which there is still so much more!
