African American Scholarship Fund

Hello and thank you for taking the time to acknowledge my campaign. I am a All Star Ambassador on the white house inititavie for Historically black colleges and Universities. My initiative is to bring awarness to my school as well as oppurtunities to my peers. What better way to do that than to create a schoalrship? I want to raise money to start a scholarship specifically for African American students pursuing higher education. I feel that not enough scholarships are available for African Americans trying to obtain higher education and that those that are available focus so much on STEM based majors that they forget other degrees and the fact that not everything can be done in a laboratory. This scholarship will be a way to help other aspiring African Americans get their foot in the door whether they are striving to be an artist, teacher, dancer, biotechnologist, nurse, esthetician etc. Once I can establish this scholarship I will be able to help other individuals for years to come. I plan to use this scholarship as a stepping stone to create other oppurtunites to help other African Americans. Please spread word and donate. Any help is greatly appreciated!
