Help for funeral costs

My sisters husbands father sadly passed away and we are trying to raise funds to help them with funeral costs
Hello all...
As you may well be aware my sisters father-in-law Les Page died on Sunday the 11th august 2019.
He got taken into hospital on the 30th July as he was poorly and weak. He had to stay in for a few days whilst they did tests to find the cause. By the 5th August they got told the terrible news that Les had been holding a secret illness called Myelodysplasia this is a group of cancers in which immature blood cells in the bone marrow do not mature and therefore do not become healthy blood cells. We found out that he had been carrying this illness for just over 10 years.
On this day they found out that the Myelodysplasia had developed into leukaemia and sepsis and this was what eventually took over his body, sadly he couldn't fight any longer and passed away on the 11th August.
To this day Les and Chris had always been my best friend but i feel he never really recovered from the loss of his brother David. He never really looked after himself well enough and slowly this illness took over. Had they had known of this illness they would have encouraged him to receive treatment for it and he may have lived a healthier life.
Les was well known in the community and well liked but unfortunately he left the family struggling to pay for the funeral costs. He had no life insurance, no savings or pensions, nothing. The family are trying to get a government grant but it is not looking good as they are not on any benefits to receive the funds.
I am putting this go fund me page up to try and help the family with any costs that they will encounter during this sad time. As they want to give him a nice send off but cant afford it at the minute, if you feel like you can help in any shape or form that would be greatly appreciated no matter how small a donation it is.
