His Bucket List.

Hello world. My name is Kevin Vazquez and I created this "˜GoFundMe' page for my 11 yr. old nephew. I was skeptical at first because my family nor I have never done this before. But after considerable thought, I realized that being practical about situations like this is the only way to be. My family and I need to be prepared for what ever life hands us. My nephew, Roy Jr. Vazquez, suffered an Aneurism and unfortunately fell into a coma. He is currently still in Pediatrics ICU. It has been 10 days and going. There aren't any words to explain the agony this has caused my family, friends, and I. But we all have been bonded now to prove our strength, faith, and love for one another but more importantly for my nephew. We are in a pool of faith. I know there are many other families that have and are experiencing similar situations like this. I never realized or thought this would ever happened to us. But as a wake up call, life is never promised tomorrow. This is an eye opener for us all. Our perspectives in life and on many things have forever changed. And that is dealing with matters in an approprate and positive way and also having much more appreciation and grattitude for what we have today. My prayers and love goes out to ANY other child or family, suffering from similar situations. Roy Jr. at 10 yrs old created a bucket list. He began with these form of thoughts at a younger age. He surprised us. He is a polite, well mannered little boy. I felt like he was too "˜mature' for such a young age. When I was 10, I was probably thinking of cartoons or going out and throwing rocks at windows. Well, my nephew is different. He loves his 49ers and SF Giants!! He loves to read. He loves to be on the computer and research his endless 'curiosity' away. He focuses on the calm and humble things in life. But more importantly, he was always/and is determined, to guide and protect his 8 yr.old lil .sister at any cost. That is his best friend. He became very special and a source of inspiration to others. I miss him dearly. I love him to the depths of my core. So I believe and have all the faith that my nephew will conquer this challenge. So I'm here with hopes of any contribution to support my nephew. A simple prayer is grand enough for us. I thank you in advance with my life time of gratitude, and appreciation. I would also like to recognize UC Davis Medical Center of Sacramento for their outstanding service. Without their team, I don't know where we'd be. Thank you all again, and God Bless.
