Juanisha's Breast Cancer Battle

Donation protected
I've never been this open about my life or this experience. However sometimes you have to open yourself to the world.

In January of this year I was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of Breast Cancer that formed in my right breast and metastasized to my lymph nodes (underarm). Getting that diagnosis has greatly changed my life in ways that I still don't understand. I thought I would sweep through this battle like a warrior. However I must say that didnt happen!  After the first chemo treatment I was flat on my butt!! I've never understood what it was to fight for my life until this diagnosis. I have to fight to be here for my children! They need me!

This journey has affected every aspect of my life! It's not easy getting others to understand what Im feeling unless they've experienced it. This mountain of objectives is so overwhelming at times. One thing I can say it that I am so grateful to still be here and be able to fight! My children are forever my motivation.

For anyone that has ever battled cancer or knows someone that has you can understand that not only is this journey hard on a person and their family physically, mentally and emotionally but financially as well. Cancer treatments are very expensive! Not being able to work during this time has placed a huge financial strain on my household. It's embarrassing for me to even need the help because im usually the one helping others.

The money will be used to be able to continue my treatments without hassle and stress. I desperately need the opportunity to JUST focus on my health. I still have 11 more Herceptin treatments, 30 radiation treatments, and several more surgeries...

I'm asking EVERYONE even if you choose not to help me, please help someone going through this. This can be a lonely journey at times. Most people struggle with surviving because they feel alone and devalued.

I want to be able to not only help my situation but be a blessing to another person as well. I've never understood how cancer really affects your life until I got that diagnosis. I would never want to wish this on anyone and I will forever be grateful to anyone that helps.

$5 (min allowed donation per website) a person goes a long way.

If you aren't able to help, SHARE this story. Sharing this story gets to the eyes and hearts of someone that can help. Im no celebrity, not IG famous, no viral sensation. I'm just an ordinary woman reaching out to the world for help.

God tears things apart to build them back up. I am forever going to believe that he tore everything for me apart to rebuild all the broken pieces and bring me closer to him and the ones that matter. He needed me to slow down and pay attention....Thank you Lord!
