Andrew Davis Fund

Andrew davis husband and father of 5 was diagnosed in october 2015 with scc of the tonsil .12 months later after gruelling radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatments that made him so weak and poorly even to the point of having to have a feeding tube fitted as he could no longer swallow foods for himself .in june of 2016 we were so releived when the oncologist gave him the all clear .we were elated and started to make plans to finally get back on with our lives as the past year had been an ultimate nightmare .then in june of this year andrew took a turn for the worst and became increasingly unwell .further tests revealed that the cancer had metastasized to his liver and that it was incurable .doctors offered chemotherapy to try and extend life by a few months but last week doctors withdrew treatment and wete unable to offer anything else leaving himself his wife and 5 children devastated and with no option but to fund private treatment themselves .we are hoping to raise £50.000 to be able to fund a groundbreaking treatment called immunotherapy .a treatment that increases the immune system to be able to fight the cancer cells .a treatment that will not be offered on the nhs .they have completely written him off and the family refuse to give up .any funds raised will go towards the funding of the treatment and to help the family through this heartwrenching ordeal .they will be attending the london oncology clinic to get the ball rolling for treatment .please help us donate as much as possible .andrew is a fantastic husband father and friend to many who has always gone above and beyond to help others wherever he can .you will never meet a nicer guy than him .please can we ask that everyone try to donate and share to the andrew davis fund to try and get to target as soon as possible as time is no longer on their side no matter how little it all adds up
