Arty came into my care at 6 weeks old.  He has a condition called Manx Syndrome.. This means that his lower bowel does not function properly thus creating a condition called  megacolon.. Arty has had numerous visits to my vets at Bowen Rd Vets in Townsville to assist him. Sometime costs upwards of $1000 ..But always through these procedures he has remained a healthy and happy cat..I remember his first episode  and the vet said it would be cheaper to let him go to "kitty heaven" ..not on my watch..Arty is my world..he is my family..Loved by the rest of the furbabies as well as me. I have never asked for anything in my life before but to give the boy a chance..He is my world..Any money raised that Arty does not require will go towards the RSPCA. and other shelters for homeless cats that require assistance
