Cooper Family

Matt Cooper was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many.  He was the Music Director and Pastor of Worship at First Baptist Temple City for over 20 years.  He was a carpenter, foreman, and part owner at Isolated Ground for 18 years.  He was an active parent and coach in Temple City National Little League for 17 years.  Thursday, April 19th, at the age of 44, he passed unexpectedly.

Matt’s love for the Lord, sense of humor, his ability to compose and play music, his passion for sports, as well as his many other attributes brightened the lives of everyone around him.  The love and dedication he had for his wife, Michelle, and children, Nick, Michael, Joey, Josh, and Ellie will be remembered for many years to come. 

In the few days since Matt’s passing, several people have expressed the desire to contribute financially to the Cooper family.  While there is not one specific expense these funds will be used for, there are many unknowns in the months to come.  This GoFundMe is simply an avenue for making some of these donations possible.  The Cooper Family is very grateful for your generous donations.

The Memorial Service will be held First Baptist Temple City in the gymnasium at 6019 Baldwin Ave, Temple City on Sunday, May 6th at 2:00pm.
