Help Little Mimi Through Recovery ❤

Mimi Sophia Morales is a strong, energetic 7 year old who loves her friends and loves school. So she was very sad to have missed part of the beginning of second grade, last September, recovering from surgery to remove infected jaw bone and permanent teeth after being infected with a mycrobacterial infection at Childrens Dental of Anaheim.She was hospitalized for months and and then for another seven months, sat on the sidelines at recess to avoid displacing the intravenous line used to dispatch powerful antibiotics to destroy her severe dental infection. During the many tests performed, doctors discovered a large tumor in her pancreas, which a 6 hour surgery just removed today June 13th at CHLA. We are all so relieved and thankful the very complicated and dangerous surgery went well, however the road to recovery now begins. Throughout this ordeal her guardian and grandma Mimi Morales and family, have put everything to the side, missing work, (and sleep) in order to help little Mimi get everything she needs to get better. It has definitely been a heartwrenching and difficult  journey for the whole family. Our hope is to offset the extensive costs the family has incurred and will continue to incur on Mimis road to recovery.
