VITFriends Vitiligo Support Group, Inc, along with several Vitiligo Support Groups across the United States will participate in the first World VITILIGO Rally on the Steps of the Capitol on Saturday June 25th, 2016 in Washington, D.C. Our aim is to bring awareness to VITILIGO
This World Vitiligo Day RALLY will be the first World Vitiligo Awareness event and will bring groups together. What is Vitiligo? Vitiligo is a skin disease that affects an estimated three million people in the United States and 65 million people worldwide, but many people do not understand what vitiligo is or what it does, so it is crucial to increase awareness through events such as this. says Mrs. Valarie Molyneaux, CEO/Founder of VITFriends-Boston. “This rally will be family-friendly, so please make sure to come out and join us!”says Natasha Pierre-McCarthy, CEO/Founder of Vitiligo Bond-Atlanta.

Join many vitiligo members nationally and internationally for a day of entertainment, fun, food, and friendship with activities for the whole family. We will begin our celebration on Friday 24th of June 2016 with a banquet, fashion show and music. Then on Saturday 25th, of June 2016 we will rally on the steps of the Capitol in a show of STRENGTH and UNITY as we raise awareness for Vitiligo.
Join our special guest list of VITILIGO patients that includes: Winnie Harlow of America's Next Top Model, Lee Thomas of Fox TV 2 Detroit, MI, Karl Dunbar of the Buffalo Bills, Ogo Maduewesi of Lagos, Nigeria and many more....
Help us to offset the expenses that it will take to bring this event to life and to sponsor a few Vitiligo patients to attend this event.
