Help Us Remember our Granddaughter

Our beautiful granddaughter was tragically taken from us way too early at only 4 months old. Her uncles and aunties were very close to her and intensely involved in her short life. Her youngest uncle is 9 and youngest aunty is 10 and they are struggling with coming to terms that they will never hear her babble to them, cuddle with her or look at her angelic face again. We want to provide them a place in our backyard where they can sit and remember their beautiful niece whenever they feel the need to. Her paternal heritage was african so we want to try and combine this into the special garden we want to create. The children came up with the idea of planting a boab tree in the back yard and putting a bench seat and a plaque under it. We thought it was a great idea...until we enquired about the prices of a boab tree. A small tree, the cheapest we can purchase, begins at $3500 and can go up to $60,000 and we simply can't afford to do this by ourselves. We are appealing to the public to assist us in any way they can so that we can honor the memory of our granddaughter and ease our family's grieving. By providing them with somewhere they can freely express their feelings, sit under a tree from her heritage and think about our beautiful angel who grew her wings too early.
