Kidney For Dustin

Dustin Lewis found out in the Spring 2016, that his diabetes had not been nice to his kidneys. The physicians treated his failing kidneys but by mid summer Dustin was given the devastating news that he must be put on the kidney transplant list. December 2016, Nina Hart, Dustin's cousin, offered her kidney to Dustin to give him a second chance at life, and the compatibility matching process began. After many months of testing and trips to Baylor Dustin and Nina received the news that they were the perfect kidney match and the surgery is scheduled for June 28, 2017. Dustin remained strong in his faith during this journey and knew God would provide the perfect kidney at the perfect time. With all the medical testing, many trips to Baylor, loss of income, etc. the expenses are very overwhelming. Dustin will remain in the Ft Worth area, close by the Baylor transplant facility for 6 weeks before returning home. We are raising money to help with the expenses for Dustin, Paige and 19 month old son Kolton. This has been quite a journey and God has provided the ultimate miracle with Nina's kidney for Dustin.
