Donald Girtley

Donald Girtley Jr was a Senior at Goldsboro High School and was killed in a double homicide In Kinston NC at 11:30am on May 31, in a senseless act of gun violence commented by a 15yr old. Donald stepped outside his mothers home to say hello to a neighbor and was shot and died in the arms of his brother. He was loved by all and enjoyed life, He was the life of the party. Donald was loved by soooo many people. His sudden and tragic end has devastated not only his family but the Goldsboro and Kinston Community Donald has a 2 month old baby boy and another baby boy due in September. He wanted to join the Military so he could provide for his kids. Donald was an active Member in JROTC in high school and he also just recently interviewed and did a casting tape for MTV's 16 and pregnant. His future was so bright and someone took his life away with a senseless act of gun violence and the accused is only 15yrs Old. He will never be able to meet his unborn child or see neither one of his boys grow. Donald did not have any insurance , his family is asking that you donate whatever you can at this time.
