Please Help Mooshka!

Mooshka is a 4 year old full bred pitbull. She is my friend Shannons gentle, sweet, and the best companion dog a owner could ask for. She gets along with children and other animals. This past weekend Mooshka suddenly fell ill. Mooshka was bit by two ticks in the past week & she tested positive for lyme and Anaplasma which are twoo tick borne diseases. Mooshka also has fluid in her lungs and a very high white blood cell count. In her urine she has struvite crystals,WBCs TNTC,Rods and cocci seen. She is extremely sick and needs continued IV antibiotic therapy and a surgery to remove her uterus! Shannon has exhausted all of her funds and drained her bank account on the diagnostics exams and one day of 24hr care. If we can't raise the funds, Shannon will have to do what all dog owners fear. Mooshka is especially important to this family and I am hoping to be able to help her raise the funds to save Mooshka. Shannons ex fiancé was murdered in a home intrusion when she was six months pregnant with their son and Mooshka was his pride and joy. Shannon and her fiancée have shared many amazing memories raising their pup as they started their family. Shannon has struggled to provide for her 3 year old son and fur baby on her income. She is very appreciative of any help whether it is a dollar or just sharing this post to spread the word in hope of raising enough money to get the medical help her dog and family so desperately need.
