3rd Grade Field Trip

Hi!  We're the 3rd grade team at a great elementary school in Silver Spring, Maryland.  We have the greatest kids you could ever hope to teach, but we have a lot of challenges we've had to overcome.  About two weeks before the school year started, the apartment complex where many of our families live exploded in the middle of the night.  Our students and their families are struggling to pay for basic necessities, so we're asking for your help with our field trip costs!  We have the opportunity to go to the Baltimore Museum of Industry, where the kids will learn about technology and assembly lines, and get to participate in lots of hands-on activities.  However, due to the time needed to travel there, do the activities, and travel back, we have to hire charter buses.  The company has worked with us to give us a discounted rate, but between the bus cost and the admission fee, it's going to cost our six classes $4,500.00 to go.  Any amount you can give would be wonderful, and my team and our students thank you in advance!
