3rd Annual Senior Rally Day

California's Aging population is expected to double in the next 15 years.  Programs and services are not expanding to address this growth.  The planners of this event are community volunteers spending a huge amount of time doing the planning for this event  The California Senior Rally Day scheduled for May 11th in Sacramento.  It is a way to get seniors to Sacramento to show that they have a voice and that they vote.  The money raised will be used to purchase lunches, water, and other necessities for the seniors who attend.  Last year over 500 seniors made their way to Sacramento in busses, car pools, and public transit. As one of the planners of this event, I feel blessed to be able to support our aging population by bringing their voices to our government representatives.  A simple thank you is not enough.  We would be truly grateful for any support received!!!  Our deadline is Friday April 21st.  This will enable us to seek bidding for the lunches, as we should have a pretty good idea how many will actually attend.
